WALKING NETBALL

Walking Netball is a modified version of the game with no running or jumping. It is perfect for those who have been out of the game for a while, those coming back from injury or pregnancy, or anyone who would like to give netball a go.

Walking Netball at Auckland Netball is a fun, friendly, and inclusive environment where everyone is welcome. No prior netball experience is required and there is no obligation to attend every week. The sessions will consist of a warm-up, netball skills, and match play. All activities are optional and players are encouraged to take things at their own pace.

Sessions take place weekly on a Monday at 10am during term time at our indoor courts in St Johns, and Wednesday at 6:30pm at our outdoor courts at Windmill Park during Term 1 and 4. After the session our Kokkino cafe is open for refreshments.

We have just launched a Walking Netball Summer League Grades for Ladies Only and Open - see below for more details.

SUMMER NETBALL

We have also launched a Walking Netball Summer League grade!

Details for the term 4 Summer League:

Walking Netball Team - $325 (6 weeks)
Walking Netball Individual - $60 (6 weeks)
Walking Netball - For all adults.
Ladies only and Open grades (Open to people of all genders, with no restrictions on gender balance within teams).
Games are 4x 8 minute quarters

If you fancy giving Walking Netball a go, why not join our 6-week Summer league?

Matches will take place outdoors on a Wednesday evening at Windmill Park or a Thursday evening at St Johns.

Free Walking Netball taster Sessions

Want to try netball but not sure where to start? Come and try Walking Netball at our free Taster Sessions

Walking Netball is low-impact sport perfect for any skill level. There is no running and jumping in Walking Netball so it's perfect for those who have been away from the game or those returning to exercise after a long break.

Sessions will include a warm-up, rule introduction, skills & matchplay
Friendly, inclusive, and welcoming environment - come alone to make some new friends or bring your own friends to make a team.
Adults of all ages and abilities welcome - no prior netball experience required.
