Position: Netball Coaches
from Y7-Y10

Netball is a high participatory sport of choice at Diocesan School for Girls. It is our aim for students to reach maximum potential at local and regional levels as well as continuing to maintain high levels of participation in forthcoming years.

Mō te tūranga: About the role

  • Fixed Term position of up to 3-7 hours per week dependent on team during Term 2 and 3
  • Netball Coaches will work with students in a netball team to develop and hone their skills and gameplay to a high standard and create a positive team environment
  • Your planning and organisation will enable us to effectively run training sessions and game days
  • The Season report is to be shared with Sports Manager in Charge of Netball summarising player capabilities including technical & tactical skill set and fitness.

  • Proven experience as a coach
  • Planning and organisation skills to effectively run training sessions and game days
  • Coaching Ability and Understanding
  • Be experienced and confident in systems used to develop young players
  • Experience with Health and Safety and accident and injury reporting and the associated time frames
